If cholesterol accumulates over time on the walls of blood vessels, clogging them, scientists have shown that a single mass containing sausages, eggs and cheese led to narrowing of the arteries by 24% in the case of perfectly healthy men, after only three hours from lunch. Narrowed arteries lead to hypertension and heart disease.

If you can't concentrate after eating, it doesn't mean you need more coffee. Scientists at Cambridge University noted that after only nine days of a high fat diet, lab mice had problems with concentration. The same effects can be observed in humans.
