Most of the world's population lives in countries where overweight and obesity kill more people than submarine.
Health specialists say the main reasons for fattening are increased appetite, tahifagia (the act of eating too fast) the predilection for sweets, compulsive eating and sedentary.
Why are we fattening?
People who are trying to lose weight often think that food itself is the problem. Except for cases involving clear medical conditions, in the most frequent cases of fattening people actually eat more than necessary and use food as medicine to relieve inner pain and suffering; and of course, as with drugs, there is a secondary benefit – the state (so short and passing) of emotional comfort obtained from the eager or unhealthy episode.

More and more studies and researches attribute compulsive eating and episodes of "binge eating" to the same character as the addictions themselves: drugs, smoking, etc. Incidentally, for example, excessive consumption of sugar and sweets has long been recognized as addictive behavior.
"What can you do to fix this increasingly serious problem? You can start by asking yourself "what do I really want when I want to do that?" It can be insecurity, problems with your partner, or you may feel tired, overworked, or anxious. And if it is not about it, then, anyway, it is certainly the self-image (100% psychological aspect). What is the most effective way to lose weight?
There are certainly countless ways to get the desired results. Some use diets, whether or not combined with sports, natural products, gymnastics, post or meditation. There is only one way to be "the most" for everyone, for the simple reason that each person is different.
However, according to the specialist, the biggest mistake we make when we want to lose weight is that, in the chase after immediate results, we choose the method that seems to us the fastest, but we ignore exactly what is most important – the causes that led to the addition of extra pounds. Thus, we are at best achieving only short-term results.
"We regularly witness the appearance of miraculous diets, which, although they are able to deliver some positive results, are often ephemeral, and the yoyo effect hurts. A successful attempt to lose body weight must necessarily begin with an inner change. Diets and sport are external actions that you impose on your body, but as long as you do not work with your mind and your inner resources, you will inevitably return to where you started, "says psychologist Angela Nutu.
