Overeating is made on the nervous background, excessive eating is an addiction

Overeating is made on the nervous background, is a problem that is related to the reward system.

Obesity is currently one of the most common diseases facing all of humanity, and World Health Organization studies show that 39% of adults on the planet are overweight, while 13% are even obese. Most of the world's population lives in countries where overweight and obesity kill more people than submarine.

Health specialists say the main reasons for fattening are increased appetite, tahifagia (the act of eating too fast) the predilection for sweets, compulsive eating and sedentary.

Why are we fattening?

People who are trying to lose weight often think that food itself is the problem. Except for cases involving clear medical conditions, in the most frequent cases of fattening people actually eat more than necessary and use food as medicine to relieve inner pain and suffering; and of course, as with drugs, there is a secondary benefit – the state (so short and passing) of emotional comfort obtained from the eager or unhealthy episode.

"Behind the increased appetite, the unswerving desire for sugar and sweetness and sedentary, deep causes are often and to solve the problem of excessive eating, all these hidden reasons must be identified and eliminated. Excessive eating – just like smoking or drinking – is a result of an inner stress that we choose to overstate because we do not know how to react, how to handle the stressful situation we face, "explains psychologist Angela Nutu, Vice President of the Romanian Association of Hypnosis.

Excessive eating is an addiction, just like smoking or drug use

More and more studies and researches attribute compulsive eating and episodes of "binge eating" to the same character as the addictions themselves: drugs, smoking, etc. Incidentally, for example, excessive consumption of sugar and sweets has long been recognized as addictive behavior.

"What can you do to fix this increasingly serious problem? You can start by asking yourself "what do I really want when I want to do that?" It can be insecurity, problems with your partner, or you may feel tired, overworked, or anxious. And if it is not about it, then, anyway, it is certainly the self-image (100% psychological aspect). You can also give yourself a few seconds of awareness before you burst out of that dish, seconds to notice – is not it thirsty? Or maybe you feel bored, stressed, worried, abandoned, etc.? "Says psychologist Angela Nutu.

What is the most effective way to lose weight?

There are certainly countless ways to get the desired results. Some use diets, whether or not combined with sports, natural products, gymnastics, post or meditation. There is only one way to be "the most" for everyone, for the simple reason that each person is different.

However, according to the specialist, the biggest mistake we make when we want to lose weight is that, in the chase after immediate results, we choose the method that seems to us the fastest, but we ignore exactly what is most important – the causes that led to the addition of extra pounds. Thus, we are at best achieving only short-term results.

"We regularly witness the appearance of miraculous diets, which, although they are able to deliver some positive results, are often ephemeral, and the yoyo effect hurts. A successful attempt to lose body weight must necessarily begin with an inner change. Diets and sport are external actions that you impose on your body, but as long as you do not work with your mind and your inner resources, you will inevitably return to where you started, "says psychologist Angela Nutu.

Many people have been weakened by … hypnosis

Hypnosis is the revolutionary and extremely effective method that does not guarantee that you will get rid of extra pounds overnight, but it will surely help you change your beliefs and uncontrolled desire to eat; because hypnosis does not work with the conscious mind, but acts at the subconscious level – that level of our beliefs, emotions and beliefs.

"In our subconscious dwell both dysfunctional patterns that help weight gain, as well as the motivation and resources that can liberate us and can guide us on the path of success. Hypnosis is a method already used in the West and has proven to be very successful for many people who have fought extra pounds as an element that has triggered a permanent "slimming regime", so actually a style of healthy life. Hypnotherapy for weight loss helps you make things work for you and not against you, making your goals easier to achieve. It helps to discover and eliminate the causes that push you to over-food, to build a new motivated mentality, to change your eating habits, thus having more chances to lose weight, giving you a renewed confidence to start moving and eat healthier foods, "explains psychologist Angela Nutu, vice president of the Romanian Hypnosis Association.

At the same time, the psychologist warns that hypnosis does not eliminate the need to maintain a healthy diet and have constant physical activity, but on the contrary helps us easily integrate them among our main habits. Thus, we can even get used to the movement and get to the point where we like physical exercise or other activities that help weaken it.
