Sesame seeds contain vitamins A, B, C and E. They also contain proteins, 50% more than in meat. They are very high in calcium and successfully replace milk, being recommended in osteoporosis.

They have a high energy value, are recommended in nutrition disorders, are laxative, emollient, antitumor and help detoxify the liver and kidneys. They strengthen the immune system, increase fertility and are aphrodisiac.

Sesame seeds are a good source of selenium, magnesium and phosphorus, having a low cholesterol and sodium content.

For detoxifying the body, consume 15-20 grams of powder prepared from seeds, with a little water, three times a day, 10-15 minutes before a meal.

The burns are treated with a porcelain of ground sesame seeds and water. The dressing is changed two to three times a day, until it is cured.
