George Ohsawa, by his real name Yukikazu Sakurazawa is the founder of the macrobiotic diet. Macrobiotic nutrition is also called the art of longevity and rejuvenation, because the macrobiotic diet is actually a way of life, in harmony with nature and the environment. Over the years, it has been used to cure some diseases, including cancer.
The macrobiotic diet created by George Ohsawa is based on the Eastern concept of complementary energies yin and yang – two opposing but complementary forces that govern all aspects of life. In order to maintain a natural balance and harmony of the whole body, the two energies must be balanced, the restoration of this balance having the effect of healing, detoxifying and balancing the energy flows in the body.
Ohsawa laid the foundation for a 10-day diet system that consumes Yang cereals such as wheat, rice, barley, oats, rye, millet and buckwheat. By processing these cereals to a minimum to keep the active ingredients as strong as possible, macrobiotic treatment has extraordinarily beneficial effects on health, as George Ohsawa himself cured himself at the age of 19 of tuberculosis, using these principles of the macrobiotic diet. .
The Oshawa diet is maintained for 10 days and can be resumed after a 3-5 day break. This extraordinary diet is both simple and inexpensive.
What is the Ohsawa regime no. 7?
Ohsawa regime no. 7 is the most effective regimen indicated by Dr. George Ohsawa, having rebalancing and healing effects in almost all diseases, including cancer. The regime provides that for the duration of 10 days to consume only the following cereals Yang: wheat, rice, buckwheat and millet, in any combination or proportion we want, cooked or baked, the only condiment allowed being the coarse salt. In the case of severe diseases, successive periods of diet are recommended (several groups of 10 days each), with a break of 3-5 days between two groups, during these breaks other foods can be consumed, preferably also yang, slightly digestible, but very nutritious. The regimen is repeated until the desired effect is achieved, ie the definitive elimination of the disease or imbalance.
We draw attention to the fact that during the 10 days of diet should only be consumed wheat, rice, buckwheat and millet and absolutely nothing else! Only the coarse salt is allowed as a condiment, and as a liquid only water should be consumed, preferably as pure as possible. These cereals are very good to be whole grains, but white rice can be consumed from time to time. Wheat should be purchased from the peasant market, not from the supermarket and as far as possible from crops where no chemical fertilizers were used.
The cereals can be prepared in any combination or proportion we want: cooked, baked, ground, in the form of porridge (as the buttermilk) or cake. They can be eaten in any quantity, preferably as much as possible, spread over several meals per day.
Refreshments, fresh drinks, coffee and even tea are banned throughout the Ohsawa regime.
Only in exceptional cases, it is possible to consume basil macerated, and if we follow a natural treatment, the remedies prescribed by the doctor can be taken in parallel with the Ohsawa regime.
The extraordinary effects of the Ohsawa regime
The Ohsawa regime, strictly adhered to, removes almost any disease, even some seemingly incurable ones, the action of the Ohsawa regime being almost miraculous.
Medical studies conducted at US universities have shown that the Ohsawa regimen decreases the amount of free radicals in the blood, making it extremely effective in treating cancer and eliminating any tumors in general. Ingredients: 500g wheat or buckwheat, 1 teaspoon of coarse salt and 150 ml of water.
The wheat is finely ground with a coffee grinder and mixed with water and salt. The resulting cake is allowed to soften for half an hour after which the cakes are molded and baked in a pan without oil over low heat. In the oven you can make meats, sticks or any other form. The same applies to buckwheat cakes. It is recommended to make cakes of wheat flour mixed with buckwheat flour and / or millet flour, with wheat flour being the largest proportion.
Wheat pie with boiled rice
Ingredients: 500g whole wheat flour, 200g rice, 1 teaspoon of coarse salt.
From the wheat flour and the warm water a dough is obtained. While the dough is kneading, boil the rice with a little salt. Stretch the hull to get a thicker sheet. Add the rice to the middle and roll the sheet as a roll. Place in a lined baking tray and bake for 10-20 minutes over low heat.

Using whole wheat flour, salt and water, prepare a soft hull from which small dumplings are molded and placed in boiling water. After boiling, add rice or rice flour. Boil for 10-15 minutes, stirring often if I have put rice flour so that it does not stick. Instead of rice, buckwheat can be used.

As the butter is prepared, add the water to the boil with a little salt, and when the water boils add the whole wheat flour and rice flour in the rain. Boil the mixture for 20-30 minutes. As both the wheat and rice are boiling, the softer composition will have to be left and not too much flour added. You can also make porridge from millet flour or mixed with wheat flour or rice.
Wheat, buckwheat or millet

Prepare a heavy dough of finely milled buckwheat flour, salt and water, which then spreads with the flour on a table sprinkled with flour. Then roll the obtained sheet and cut into thin slices. From these slices, when they are dissolved, the noodles are placed in a sieve and shaken with flour. Allow a quarter of an hour to dry, then boil in boiling salted water for 10-15 minutes.
