The beneficial properties of asparagus have been known since the ancient Greeks, being used as a natural diuretic and cure for many diseases or even aphrodisiac.

Asparagus contains vitamins K, A, C and B as well as potassium, folic acid, calcium, iron and manganese. Purifies toxins in the blood and is a recommended diuretic for nephritis and diseases of the genito-urinary system.
