Victor Costache is a surgeon and a member of the French College of Cardiovascular Surgery and is 45 years old.
Victor Costache graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the "Grigore T. Popa" UMF in Iași, in 1999. After a year of residency in the country, Costache decided to leave for France, where he followed a new residency.
According to the CV posted on the website of the Lucian Blaga University in Sibiu, in France, the Romanian doctor specialized in cardio-vascular and thoracic surgery. He has worked in hospitals in France, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Scotland, Germany but also in Quebec.
In 2014, after working more than 10 years in hospitals abroad, Victor Costache decided to return to Romania to practice in Sibiu. Here, he set up a department of cardiovascular and pulmonary surgery at a private hospital.
Victor Costache performed several surgeries for the first time. One of these was certified by the Academy of World Records as a world record for the first complex endovascular-treated aortic dissection operation, according to Hotnews.ro.
